All money made will go directly to all the money received will go to Batay Ouvriye (a community centred trade union, one of the labour organisations that represent the factory workers and the poor in Haiti) to aid in their relief efforts.
The four songs are all covers…Joe Strummer and The Mescalaros, Randy, Weakerthans and Chubby Checker!

THE DEAD PEASANTS REVOLT is a new band out of Newfoundland, featuring Davey Brat from The Brat Attack and The Class War Kids on guitar/vocal, Elsa doing vocals, Greg on guitar/vocals, Cy on bass/vocals and Chris on drums…they’re currently recording and you can check out their tune “DIY Or Die Fucko”…it’s in the Box to your right!

“So, as I promised I’ve posted a song from our demo recordings we did just before the end of the new year. The song is called “Battle On” and we recorded it along with 14 other songs at Bala Clava Studios (yes, where Tirekickers and Marilyn’s Vitamins recorded their first albums). It’s kinda becoming a tradition to do pre-production there and we enjoy it thoroughly. Anyways, it is just a demo so stay tuned for the full length available for our (dare I say) North American tour in July 2010. Now we’ve never booked the USA before and for those of you who know us we like doing things ourselves so we’re going to see how that goes but we think it might turn out alright. Enjoy the track.”

Check out the following blog/movie: One Of Us: Anti-Fascist Grafitti In Bochum”. You can stream a 25 minute movie which details the creation (in Bochum, Germany) of a mural made in honour of 7 murdered anti-fascists. The video documents the creation of the mural and also documents the lives of the murdered anti-fa. Here’s what the blog has to say:
“this is a „blog“, which has been set up by the „Polit-Café Azzoncao“ and the anti-fascist youth of bochum (AJB).
In the end of the last year we have, supported by professional artists, created a murales in our town to remember seven young anti-fascist, who were killed by neo-nazis. After it was finished, we spreaded this murales all over the world in different languages.
Over the half past year we also produced this documentary „uno di noi“ (one of us) to show the making of the graffity and to tell you about our murdered anti-fascist comrades. After we have presented it in many clubs in germany, we decided to upload the movie to the web, plus many background texts and photos.

The Class War Kids – “Reflection! Rage! Rebellion!”
Newfoundland’s CLASS WAR KIDS are back with a brand new disc packed with their brand of hook-filled, up-tempo punk tunes with socially and politically charged lyrics. Think of a mixed drink or a cocktail (make mine a molotov, please!) containing the following: 2 parts PROPAGHANDI, 1 part ANTI-FLAG and just a splash of ANGEL CITY OUTCASTS. Mmmmm…tasty. Last years “A Strong People Need No Leader” was one of my top albums of the year and “Reflection! Rage! Rebellion!” follows along in that same vein. This CD is a strong one from start to finish, but I’d especially recommend the tracks “Disinformation Age,” Viva Capitalista” and “Fuck The Troops.” (RK)
